This website was produced by All Together Now, a national not-for-profit organisation based in Australia. Our purpose is to promote racial equality through education.

Racism in Australia is a very serious problem that can occur in every area of a person’s life. When it comes to racial discrimination, there are different acts and laws in place to deal with this issue and different possibilities for dispute resolution.

This website provides an overview of the existing legal framework so that everyone can understand their rights and avenues for lodging a complaint should they wish to do so. Information has been categorised under different areas of life in which racial discrimination can occur along with specific suggestions for these situations.

Being upset after being racially discriminated against is a natural reaction most targets share. However, as scientific research shows, racial discrimination can also lead to mental health issues which should be taken seriously. While All Together Now does not provide counselling we have provided a list of organisations you can contact if you need assistance.

If you want to learn more, we have created a list of literature worth reading. For any special enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Like all anti-racism work, this site undergoes frequent monitoring and adjustment. If you have any suggestions for additions or improvements, please let us know.

All Together Now acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land we work on, the Gadigal people of the Eora nation, and pay our respects to their elders past and present.

This website was made possible thanks to the help of All Together Now’s volunteers Júlia Zomignani, Sahika Karabudak, and Michael Goodyear.
